Event Information

Offering all ages the chance to connect with the countryside and have a great day out, the South of England Show features a non-stop programme of agricultural and equestrian displays, country pursuits, live entertainment, rural crafts and an abundance of food, drink and shopping opportunities.
Featuring a variety of entertainment, including international showjumping, heavy horse displays, scurry racing, equine and livestock judging. The vintage agricultural machinery ring is back with demonstrations and displays, and so is the countryside ring with ferrets, wood chopping and more. Plus, there’s forestry, falconry, fly casting, and many more rural industries and crafts for visitors to experience and enjoy!

Under 16s go free if accompanied by an adult - a ticket is still required. Dogs are best left at home due to the number of people on site, restricted livestock areas and potential for hot weather. Once purchased, tickets cannot be transferred, exchanged, refunded or returned. In exceptional circumstances, to change the day of your booking a £2 administration fee will apply.
Society photographers will be present and should always ask permission for individual photography. If you do not wish your image to be included in the background please make yourself known to showground staff when you attend.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The below terms are in addition to any other shown on the event organisers website.
Online Ticket Orders
Once purchased, tickets cannot be resold, transferred, exchanged, refunded or returned. In the event of non-delivery, duplicate tickets will not be issued (copies of electronic ticket can be requested). The ticket purchaser is responsible for ordering to ensure timely receipt of their ticket. Customers are advised to check their purchase upon receipt. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform the Event Organiser of any change of address, contact phone number or email address, both before and after receipt of the goods. Please note that our preferred method of contact for customers ordering online is by email, so care should be taken to provide a current, valid email address. Tickets are valid for one day/visit only (unless otherwise stated), and might specify the day to visit or times to arrive. For multiple day entry please purchase the appropriate number of tickets.
Online bookings will receive a discount, detailed on the event organiser’s website, where tickets are purchased prior to midnight a week before the first day of the event.
Children under 16 go free if accompanied by a ticket paying adult. Children will need a ticket to gain entry to the event and these can be added to your basket free of charge when buying adult/senior (65+) or student tickets (Valid ID required).
Event organiser members (South of England Agricultural Society Members) can gain free entry on presentation of their membership card. Additional tickets for non-members can be purchased as above.
For the South of England Show, under exceptional circumstances, the Event Organiser may be able to change the day of your ticket when notified and will charge an administration fee of £2 per booking.
Your Visit
The Organisers (the South of England Agricultural Society) advise that due to the uneven and partially outdoor nature of the terrain of this event it may be at times difficult for spectators to move around freely. All spectators enter at their own risk and are advised to wear suitable footwear.

Autumn Show & Horse Trials: if the ground or weather is deemed unsafe for competitors by the organisers of the South of England Horse Trials for the trials to go ahead, the Autumn Show will still go ahead. Tickets remain non-refundable as above.
Your visit to the event is at all times subject to any notice to visitors that the Event organisers post on their premises and to the direction, supervision and guidance of their staff and marshals, which may include directions in relation to health and safety.
Your guide to E Tickets and entry to any of our Shows
- Your e-ticket will be available for printing after purchase. You will not receive a further copy in the post - the e-ticket is all you need for entry!
- Tickets will be on a printable page. Please ensure you have printed ALL your e-tickets in advance of the event (please keep them safe and dry) or download your ticket onto a smartphone for verification upon arrival at the show
- Only one print out of each e-ticket can be used and once scanned the e-tickets are no longer valid.
- Each e-ticket can only be used once for one day of the Show only
- The e-tickets are electronically validated on entry and subsequent or duplicate presentation constitutes fraudulent use.
- Damaged or defaced tickets will not be accepted
Cancelled Bookings or Lost, Forgotten or Unused Badges/Tickets
No duplicate can be issued or any refund made in respect of any cancelled, lost, forgotten or unused admission tickets, car passes or members'/guest badges.
Cancellation, Alteration, Postponement or Abandonment of the Event
The Event Organiser shall not be liable in respect of any loss or damage whatsoever arising from the abandonment, alteration, cancellation or postponement of the Event or any such eventuality.
Disclaimer of Liability
Any tickets, badges, car park labels and hospitality packages are sold subject to the Organisers reserving the right to refuse admission to the event to any person, or to withdraw permission at any time to remain at the event and shall not be required to give any reason for such action. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers or anyone for whom they are responsible, neither the Organisers of the event, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to attendees, visitors, exhibitors, animals, owners, riders, grooms, support workers, spectators, land or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.
Data Protection
We aim to set the best practice in regard to Data Protection and the acts regarding it. As part of our service to you, we would like to advise you that the details of your transaction will be retained on our database to provide a record of your transaction, and to facilitate the correct handling of this and future bookings.
Your contact information may be used by the event organiser to provide further information about this event and other associated events from this organiser, or to find out your views and opinions on their events that you have attended.
